Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain

The festive season is just around the corner, and we are so excited that the Peak of Christmas will be returning to Grouse Mountain this year!

Read below to learn everything you need to know about this year’s event, and how to get your tickets.

Despite having to make some changes to the overall operations, the Peak of Christmas will be commencing TOMORROW, Friday, November 20th and will be running through till January 3rd, 2021. “Our Peak of Christmas celebration allows guests of all ages to immerse themselves in the festive season by wandering through the glittering lights of our enchanting Light Walk, meeting Santa’s real reindeer or gliding across the outdoor Skating Pond” explains spokesperson, Julia Grant.

The twinkling light tunnel opens at dusk by the frozen skate pond, where you walk through Fir and Spruce trees lined with shimmering lights through the snow. Follow this up by renting some skates at the pond and skating on Vancouver’s favourite 8000SF outdoor skating pond under the nights sky.

After skating and walking through the light installation, refuel yourself with a tasty meal at Altitudes Bistro and take in the breathtaking view of Vancouver City Skyline.

The Peak of Christmas activities are complimentary with all Mountain Admission Tickets, Annual Memberships, Winter Passes or Lift Tickets. Grouse Mountain will also be offering a special family rate for just $99 for 2 adults and 2 children. Skyride reservations are required with ticket purchase as well as for pass holders accessing the mountain. Pre-purchasing admissions will become available once the Winter season commences and can be purchased through their website here.

Make sure to bring masks as guests will be required to wear face coverings inside and in areas where physical distancing cannot be maintained. To learn more about Grouse Mountains’ effort to ensure safety to staff and guests, you can check out their safety protocols here.

As the winter months are said to be colder than normal, we recommend dressing warm and packing some extra layers. We hope you enjoy your Christmas adventure at Grouse Mountain!
